The Anthony Mascioli Rainbow Dialogues honors all those who have financially supported, have archived and preserved, and have documented the LGBTQ history of Rochester. Because of your support and work, the history of the Rochester LGBTQ community is now a documented part of New York State History, and gives credibility to our very existence as a community.

First we recognize the Financial Supporters of Rochester LGBTQ Archives and Preservation: The Rainbow Dialogues is proud to present the following special recognitions to those individuals and organizations that have financially supported the documentation, archiving and preserving of Rochester LGBTQ history.



First, Anthony Mascioli – Representing Tony is his long time friend Richard Sarkis

Your humble, compassionate care and consistant actions to heal impact this community to its very foundation.

Dr. Bill and just Bill to many has been “Doctor” and all that means to the Rochester community in innumerable ways over the past 37 plus years. The Hippocratic Oath is exemplified by your dedication and commitment to your patients in ALL aspects of their lives.

The Anthony Mascioli Rainbow Dialogues honors you tonight for documenting your response as “Doctor” and the Rochester community’s response to the AIDS epidemic in your archives and your book AIDS A Matter of Urgency A Doctor’s Memoirs.

It is with a tremendous sense of gratitude, humility and pride that you are awarded the First Anthony Mascioli Rainbow Dialogues Award in 2018.
